Essentially a fight between the forces of good and evil, Morrigan is an entertaining story inspired by Irish folklore. Stuck in a place where she clearly does not belong, Morrigan is eager to find her homeland and her family when a knight plucked right of the Middle Ages appears to escort her on the trip.
Suspense and adventure are pulling the story along, and the narration is peppered with wit and the humor arising from the change in circumstances. When used to the modern world, who would be prepared to see a cute kitten transform into a panther-guardian, for example? Lovely descriptions, and a very entertaining romance budding between Morrigan and her knight, Tiarn, keep the reader engaged. And then the story twists.
Morrigan’s family is not what she expects, and the intrigue and power-play between family members takes center stage. Alone and lost in a world she doesn’t understand, Morrigan has to save herself and join the good side in battle, for the sake of the greater good.
Full of fantastical elements, this book kept me sucked in all the way through. I read it in one go, and that rarely happens. A very well-deserved 5 stars. If you like werewolves, faeries and witchcraft, you can’t go wrong with this book. Suitable for young adults.

I have seen this book around before and with your praise it sounds like one to add to my reading list. It’s one of those books that I pass over because of the cover, pretty but doesn’t draw me in.
